What we cover

Six beats: AI & Tech, E-commerce, Stores, Supply Chain, Payments, and Sustainability. Within each, we focus on three kinds of stories:

  • Operational change — what retailers are actually doing differently this quarter, and what it costs them.
  • Numbers worth knowing — the metrics shaping decisions: return rates, shrink, EBITDA per square meter, payment fees, scope-3 reporting deltas.
  • Sharp opinions from operators — interviews and analysis from people on the floor, not consultants pitching slides.

How we work

We’re a small, deliberately independent newsroom based in Barcelona, with contributors in New York, London, and São Paulo. We do not run sponsored editorial. Our reporting is funded by reader subscriptions, a sponsored newsletter slot (clearly labeled), and event partnerships disclosed at the foot of each event recap.

Editorial standards

  • We don’t print numbers we can’t source.
  • We name our sources unless on-the-record is impossible — and we say so when it isn’t.
  • We correct errors at the top of the story, dated, and we leave the wrong version readable below.
  • We don’t take payment, equity, or perks from companies we cover. Conference passes received under press terms are disclosed in event coverage.
